As a Senior Accountant / Finance Executive, you will be instrumental in managing all aspects of financial operations, from meticulous record-keeping to strategic financial analysis and reporting. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, comply with statutory requirements, and contribute significantly to the financial health and growth of our diverse business portfolio. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of financial and accounting operations for Vern's Group, encompassing multiple entities.
- Prepare and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities to optimize financial performance and liquidity.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory and tax compliance requirements (e.g., SST, income tax).
- Liaise effectively with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably with exposure to group accounting or multi-entity environments.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS/IFRS) and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SQL Accounting) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
