Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full-set accounting functions for a portfolio of clients in various industries, ensuring compliance with MFRS/IFRS and local tax regulations.
- Review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior associates, reviewing their work and providing guidance to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the firm, addressing complex accounting inquiries and providing strategic financial advice.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements and coordinate with external auditors during year-end processes.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and delivery speed.
- Stay current with changes in local accounting standards and tax laws to ensure the firm maintains its advisory excellence.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MIA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm or in an outsourcing/shared services environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in MFRS/IFRS and Malaysia tax compliance (SST, Corporate Tax).
- Advanced competence in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is considered a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, client-facing environment.
