Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial statements, reports, and forecasts in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Manage statutory audits, tax submissions, and liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management for informed business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and assist in budget preparation and financial performance variance analysis.
- Mentor, supervise, and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing, mentoring, and developing an accounting team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate complex financial information clearly.
