This role offers a challenging and rewarding environment where you will take full ownership of the month-end closing process, ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), and manage cash flow effectively. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to drive process improvements, mentor junior staff, and prepare strategic financial insights for senior management.
As the Senior Accounts Executive, your daily responsibilities will revolve around maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, handling full sets of accounts, and ensuring all statutory submissions (SST, Corporate Tax, EPF/SOCSO) are filed accurately and on time. You will serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, tax agents, and regulators. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is crucial.
We are seeking a candidate with a solid accounting background, either a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA. You should possess a strong command of accounting software such as SQL or Autocount, coupled with advanced Excel skills. Beyond technical skills, we value a proactive attitude, sharp analytical skills, and the capacity to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full spectrum of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis for management review.
- Ensure timely submission and compliance of SST/GST returns, corporate tax estimates, and statutory filings.
- Oversee daily cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Coordinate closely with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior accounts team members.
- Develop and enforce robust internal control policies and accounting procedures.
- Assist in annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis projects.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
- At least 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, with proven experience as a Senior Accounts Executive or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and Malaysian taxation laws (SST, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing).
- Proficient in accounting ERP systems (e.g., SQL, Autocount, UBS, SAP B1, or Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
