Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and maintain statutory books, ensuring compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations
- Oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures
- Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability and liquidity
- Handle retail financial operations, including inventory valuation, sales reporting, and cost analysis
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports for review by senior leadership
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles
- Professional certification (ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is highly preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
