Our client, a well-established outsourcing firm headquartered in the Singapore River hub, is seeking an accomplished Senior Accounts Executive to join their growing team. In this position, you will take full ownership of the financial operations for a dedicated portfolio of clients. Your core responsibilities will include overseeing the full accounting cycle (AP, AR, GL), preparing monthly management reports and financial statements, handling GST submissions and tax computations, and managing cash flow. You will also be the key point of contact for client queries, audit coordination, and mentoring junior team members, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness are met.
The ideal candidate is a Degree holder in Accountancy or a related field (ACCA/CPA is a plus) with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in full-set accounts, ideally within an outsourcing or services environment. Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills are essential. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full set of accounts for a portfolio of clients, including AP, AR, and GL functions.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis reports.
- Handle all aspects of GST compliance, including filing, reconciliations, and audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries during audits and filings.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior accounts staff.
- Assist in cash flow planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a full-set accounting role.
- Experience in an accounting outsourcing firm, public accounting, or shared services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax laws.
- Proficient in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or MYOB) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
