Sea Limited is a leading global consumer internet company with core businesses in digital entertainment (Garena), e-commerce (Shopee), and digital financial services (SeaMoney). Our regional controllership team is responsible for ensuring financial integrity and providing strategic analysis to support our growing operations in the LATAM region. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager to join our HQ finance department in Singapore.
In this high-impact role, you will be a key player in managing the financial consolidation, reporting, and control functions for our LATAM entities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and local finance managers to align processes with group policies, improve efficiency, and support business decisions. As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you will oversee month-end and quarter-end closings, prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP, perform variance analysis, and support external audits. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects as we scale our operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the regional consolidation and financial reporting for LATAM entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with local finance teams across LATAM countries to ensure compliance with group accounting policies and local statutory requirements.
- Prepare and present financial analysis and management reports to senior leadership, highlighting key trends and business insights.
- Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist in strategic projects such as system implementations, acquisitions, and process harmonization across the region.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or finance controllership, preferably with exposure to LATAM or multi-country operations.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and local accounting standards in the region.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, especially SAP; advanced Excel skills are a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
