Join Asurion as a Senior Analyst, Inventory Accounting and take charge of the financial integrity of our inventory operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that inventory costs are accurately accounted for and that all inventory management controls are consistently complied with. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can analyze complex inventory data, identify discrepancies, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
As a key member of the finance team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support month-end close processes, conduct thorough audits, and provide strategic insights to drive business decisions. Tanggung Jawab
- Ensure the accurate recording and reconciliation of all inventory transactions and balances.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and inventory management policies.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts, variance analysis, and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and review inventory-related journal entries and financial reports for accuracy.
- Partner with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues and optimize stock levels.
- Support external and internal audits by providing timely and comprehensive documentation.
- Implement and maintain best practices for inventory management systems and reporting tools.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in inventory accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and inventory valuation methods.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across various departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
