Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support A*STAR's research initiatives and R&D programs
- Partner with scientific leaders to understand research priorities and align financial resources accordingly
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for research projects and departments
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and research leadership teams
- Oversee financial risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with funding agencies, government bodies, and financial partners
- Drive financial innovation and implement best practices in financial management for research organizations
- Mentor and develop finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred
- Minimum 10-12 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and strategic financial management
- Experience in research organization, government agency, or similar environment preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in financial risk management and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Singapore's research funding landscape and government financial frameworks
