Changi General Hospital (CGH) is a leading acute care hospital and a member of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Assistant Manager to join our Finance team for a 7-month contract period. This role is pivotal in managing the daily operations of financial functions specifically related to externally funded projects and research initiatives.
In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting for grants, including the Manpower Operating Grants (MOG). You will oversee the end-to-end financial lifecycle of projects, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and in accordance with funding body requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for supporting medical research and innovation.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the daily operations and financial reporting for externally funded projects and research grants.
- Oversee the administration of Manpower Operating Grants (MOG) and ensure strict compliance with grant conditions.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for project funding.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved funding allocations.
- Liaise with project managers, research staff, and external funding bodies to provide financial guidance and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all financial documentation and processes adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the reconciliation of accounts related to research and project funds.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial management, with specific experience in grant management or externally funded projects preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
