We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join ApexBridge Inc. and support our growing portfolio of Australian clients. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end financial management of our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. If you have a strong background in Australian accounting standards and proficiency with leading cloud accounting software, we want to hear from you.
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, handling complex reconciliations, managing payroll, and ensuring all financial obligations are met efficiently. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing the opportunity to work with a dynamic international team.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for Australian clients, including daily transactions and monthly close processes.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and monthly/quarterly reports with strict adherence to Australian tax regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Handle payroll processing, including PAYG withholding and superannuation contributions.
- Utilize Xero or MYOB software to maintain client ledgers and financial records.
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation and financial audits.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Bookkeeper, preferably with Australian clients.
- Certification such as CPA, CA, or a Diploma of Accounting is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Xero or MYOB accounting software.
- Deep understanding of Australian tax laws, BAS requirements, and GST regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
