Tanggung Jawab
- Review and negotiate a wide range of construction contracts, including subcontracts, supply agreements, and service level agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Manage the entire tender process, from preparing documentation and pricing schedules to finalizing bid submissions for new projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) regulations and other local statutory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and external legal counsel to resolve contractual disputes and claims efficiently.
- Maintain and update a centralized contract register, tracking key dates, renewal notices, and performance milestones.
- Conduct regular compliance audits to identify potential risks in existing contracts and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert contract administration support to project managers during the execution phase to ensure terms are honored.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract management or a similar executive role within the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian construction laws and the Contracts Act 1950.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret complex legal terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and contract management software.
- Proven track record of managing high-stakes contracts and mitigating legal risks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
