- Lead end-to-end contract negotiations for major construction projects, including infrastructure, commercial, and residential developments
- Draft, review, and finalize complex contracts ensuring legal compliance and commercial viability
- Advise project teams on contractual risks, obligations, and dispute resolution strategies
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operational teams to align contracts with business objectives
- Monitor contract performance and implement risk mitigation protocols throughout project lifecycles
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates and documentation systems
- Stay current on regulatory changes impacting construction contracts and industry best practices
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Construction Management, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years' experience in contract management
- Professional certifications in contract management (e.g., FCIArb, ACQ) or construction law preferred
- Proven track record leading negotiations for RM50M+ construction projects
- Deep expertise in FIDIC contracts, Malaysian building regulations, and procurement processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex legal and commercial terms
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities with contractor/client negotiation experience
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite
