Are you an experienced accountant looking to sharpen your expertise in the dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector? ConnectOS is hiring a Senior CPG Inventory Accountant to support a premier US-based financial advisory firm. In this role, you will be the backbone of financial operations for high-growth CPG brands, ensuring accurate inventory accounting, cost analysis, and fiscal health.
You will work remotely in a fast-paced environment, collaborating directly with US leadership to provide fractional finance support. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to US GAAP standards while working with innovative consumer brands. We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a virtual office setting and understands the complexities of inventory valuation, COGS, and supply chain finance.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end inventory accounting processes, including reconciliation, valuation, and shrinkage analysis for multiple CPG clients.
- Perform detailed Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis to ensure margins align with financial projections.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to track inventory movement across multiple channels (DTC, Wholesale, Retail).
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and operational budgets for high-growth brands.
- Execute complex month-end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support fractional CFOs by providing high-level reporting and financial insights to support business decision-making.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years specifically focused on inventory management or manufacturing/CPG accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with cloud-based ERP/Accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment with US-based stakeholders.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
