Your Day-to-Day Impact
As a Senior Customer Assistant at Watsons 360 Perling Mall, you will be an ambassador of the brand. Your primary goal is to ensure every customer walks away feeling satisfied and valued. You will provide expert guidance on a comprehensive range of health, beauty, and wellness products. By maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising and operational excellence, you will contribute significantly to the store's overall success.
We are looking for an individual who can take ownership of their role, support the management team, and mentor junior staff. Your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor is critical. Tanggung Jawab
- Greet and assist customers, providing personalized product recommendations and exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by proactively offering promotions and value-added services like the Watsons Card.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, well-organized, and visually aligned with Watsons global merchandising standards.
- Manage inventory effectively, including receiving stock, conducting cycle counts, and minimizing shrinkage.
- Operate the POS system accurately for cashiering, returns, and exchanges.
- Assist in visual merchandising activities and setting up promotional displays and signage.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and support to junior customer assistants and new joiners.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints tactfully and efficiently.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least SPM / O-Level or equivalent; fresh degree/diploma holders with strong retail passion are welcome.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the retail industry, preferably in health & beauty or FMCG.
- Excellent command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Customer-oriented with a pleasant personality and positive working attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Able to work on a rotating shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and cash handling procedures.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
