We are currently hiring a seasoned professional for the role of Senior Executive, Direct & Japanese Corporate. In this pivotal position, you will take ownership of a dynamic portfolio of Japanese corporate and direct accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact, responsible for driving business growth, providing expert risk advisory, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Your day-to-day will involve analyzing complex risk exposures, crafting competitive insurance programs, and managing the entire account lifecycle. You will also act as a key liaison between Japanese clients and MSIG's internal teams, including claims and risk engineering. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate cultural nuances and business challenges to deliver optimal outcomes for both the clients and the company.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and underwrite a portfolio of Japanese corporate and direct insurance accounts, ensuring profitable growth and strict adherence to underwriting guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Japanese MNCs, local brokers, and key intermediaries.
- Conduct risk assessments, analyze exposures, and prepare comprehensive insurance proposals and quotations.
- Handle full policy lifecycle management including issuance, endorsements, renewals, and premium collection.
- Collaborate with the claims department to advocate for clients and ensure efficient claims resolution.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to the development of new insurance products for the target market.
- Prepare and present business performance reports, market analysis, and strategic plans to management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in general insurance, specifically in corporate or commercial lines.
- Proficient in Japanese language (JLPT N2 or equivalent) with strong business communication skills to handle Japanese-speaking clients and head office stakeholders.
- Strong technical knowledge of underwriting, risk management, and insurance principles.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with insurance management systems is an advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., BCP, PGI, ACII) are preferred.
