Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee the general accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS and corporate policies.
- Lead statutory reporting processes, including corporate tax computations, SST submissions, and liaison with external auditors and tax agents.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance, professional development, and adherence to deadlines.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying gaps, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices in accounting processes.
- Coordinate the year-end closing process and ensure all balance sheet schedules are accurate and well-supported.
- Provide financial analysis and commentary on budget variances, cost control, and cash flow to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements across all accounting activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA are strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in general accounting and statutory reporting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), SST regulations, and corporate tax compliance.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry or a similarly regulated environment is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
