Are you a strategic HR professional with a deep understanding of labor laws? APM Corporate Services is looking for a Senior Executive, Human Resources (Industrial Relations) to join our team in Klang. In this key role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of industrial relations, ensuring strict adherence to Malaysian labor regulations while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
As the Senior Executive, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and grievance resolutions. Your expertise will be critical in navigating complex labor disputes, providing advisory support to management, and mitigating legal risks for the organization. We are seeking a dedicated professional who can effectively balance the needs of the business with the rights and well-being of our employees.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all industrial relations activities, including employee discipline, domestic inquiries, and grievance handling.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and other relevant Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits of HR policies to identify potential compliance risks and implement necessary changes.
- Represent the company in labor tribunal proceedings, mediation sessions, and domestic inquiries.
- Provide expert consultation and advisory services to management and employees regarding labor law interpretation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
- Liaise with government bodies, labor unions, and external legal counsel as required.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in Industrial Relations or HR Management.
- Strong working knowledge of the Employment Act 1955 and other Malaysian labor legislations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
- CIPD or SHRM certification is highly preferred.
