We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) to join our dynamic team in Ang Mo Kio.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving a strong safety culture across our construction and engineering projects. You will ensure full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary legislations. Your key mandate will be to implement, maintain, and continuously improve our Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with ISO 45001 standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to conduct comprehensive risk assessments, develop safe work procedures (SWP), and deliver impactful safety training and promotional programs.
As a key member of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team, you will conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols. You will lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques, prepare detailed reports, and implement robust corrective and preventive actions. Your expertise will be crucial in advising management on safety regulations and industry best practices, ensuring that ST Engineering remains at the forefront of construction safety in Singapore.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Workplace Safety and Health Management System (SMS) in compliance with ISO 45001 and local regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments (RA) and hazard identification (HAZID) for construction and engineering activities, ensuring effective control measures are in place.
- Plan and execute regular site safety inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to monitor compliance with WSH policies, safe work procedures (SWP), and legal requirements.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, employing root cause analysis techniques to determine corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate and deliver WSH training programs, inductions, and safety promotional activities to enhance safety awareness and competency across the workforce.
- Prepare and maintain accurate WSH records, reports, and documentation for regulatory submissions and management reviews.
- Provide expert WSH advice to project teams and management, fostering a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies, such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and relevant authorities on WSH matters.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related discipline.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Workplace Safety and Health, preferably within the Construction or Engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, subsidiary legislations, and Singapore Standards relevant to construction safety.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent professional certification is highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software. Experience with risk assessment tools and incident investigation techniques is a plus.
