Reporting closely to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost control, analyzing operational expenses, and providing timely management reports that directly influence key business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of product costing, including standard cost setting, BOM reviews, and cost roll-ups.
- Perform detailed variance analysis between actual costs, budgets, and forecasts, providing insightful commentaries to management.
- Monitor and control operational expenses, assisting departments in adhering to financial budgets.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts, financial reports, and KPI dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvements in costing methodologies and financial reporting processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or trading environment is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in product costing, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
