Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough insurance verification to ensure patient coverage before service delivery.
- Manage complex prior authorization processes to prevent claim denials and service delays.
- Perform accurate patient registration, ensuring all demographic and insurance data is captured correctly.
- Provide comprehensive financial counseling to patients regarding their coverage, co-pays, and deductible responsibilities.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve billing discrepancies and secure necessary approvals.
- Monitor and follow up on pending authorizations to maintain optimal departmental throughput.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations in all financial interactions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical expertise on complex financial clearance cases.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, specifically in financial clearance or authorization.
- In-depth knowledge of US healthcare insurance plans (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid).
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail for data accuracy.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and billing software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient and payer interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, performance-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Willingness to work on a night shift schedule at our Ortigas site.
