We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Fire Safety Manager to oversee the safety and compliance operations for a leading Healthcare Group. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all facility assets meet rigorous safety standards and adhere to government regulations. You will be responsible for managing fire safety systems, conducting critical audits, and leading a team to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff.
As part of our facilities management team, you will utilize the AWS system to manage asset data and streamline operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Government-linked institution, offering a competitive remuneration package that includes up to 4 months of bonus. The ideal candidate is a certified professional with a strong background in healthcare facilities and fire safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with the National Fire Code (NFC) and all relevant Singaporean government fire safety regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive fire safety audits, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance inspections of fire protection systems (e.g., sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers).
- Manage and update the AWS facility management system, ensuring accurate data integrity and reporting.
- Develop, implement, and review emergency response plans, including organizing and conducting regular fire drills and evacuation exercises.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for the servicing, repair, and certification of fire safety equipment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of Fire Safety Officers and facility support staff.
- Investigate fire safety incidents and ensure timely reporting to senior management and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
- Valid SFSM (Singapore Fire Safety Manager) certification or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in facilities management, specifically within Healthcare or Government institutions.
- Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Management, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in using AWS (Asset Workstation System) or other Facility Service Management (FSM) software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
