Are you a visionary Game Designer with a passion for crafting immersive mobile experiences? Gameloft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Designer to join our studio in Yogyakarta. As a leader in the F2P mobile gaming industry, we push the boundaries of technology and creativity to deliver world-class entertainment to millions of players globally.
In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of compelling game systems, balancing complex mechanics with intuitive player progression. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, art, and data analytics, to design live-ops strategies that keep our community engaged and growing. We are looking for a mentor and a storyteller—someone who can translate high-level creative concepts into detailed, executable documentation and lead the design process from concept through to launch and beyond.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and maintain core game systems, economy loops, and monetization strategies for F2P mobile titles.
- Lead the creation of detailed game design documents (GDDs) and system specifications.
- Collaborate with live-ops teams to design seasonal events, challenges, and retention-focused content updates.
- Analyze player data and feedback to iterate on gameplay mechanics and balance game difficulty.
- Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure design vision aligns with technical constraints.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creative excellence and best practices.
- Communicate design intent effectively across international teams in a fast-paced environment.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in game design, specifically within the mobile and F2P space.
- Expertise in balancing complex mathematical systems, progression mechanics, and economy design.
- Proven track record of managing live-ops content and driving player engagement metrics.
- Strong proficiency in design documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.) and prototyping software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into actionable design improvements.
- Strong leadership abilities with a history of mentoring or leading design teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
