NYGC Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team in Alabang, Metro Manila. This is a key leadership role within our accounting department, offering significant career growth and the opportunity to mentor junior staff.
As the Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire general ledger function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. You will lead month-end closing activities, prepare financial reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Support system implementations and process enhancements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
