We are seeking a highly experienced Senior General Manager to join NCT Group in a key contract capacity within our Property & Construction division. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for leading commercial governance and driving the contracts & claims strategy for our major property developments. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring project success through strategic oversight, financial prudence, and effective risk management.
This position requires a seasoned professional who can navigate complex construction environments, manage high-value contracts, and lead commercial teams to achieve organizational goals. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead commercial governance and financial oversight for all major property developments.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive contracts and claims strategies to mitigate project risks.
- Oversee the management of contractual disputes, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
- Monitor project financial performance against budgets and ensure strict cost control measures are in place.
- Manage and mentor a team of commercial managers and project administrators.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Establish strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and produce detailed commercial reports for senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or Law.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in senior management roles within the construction or property development sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian construction laws, regulations, and standard forms of contract.
- Proven expertise in contract administration, claims management, and commercial strategy.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS, PMP, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
