Are you a strategic leader with a passion for legal frameworks and innovation? A*STAR is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager/Assistant Director, Contracts to join the RIE TRUST Office. In this pivotal role, you will elevate data-driven innovation by overseeing the full lifecycle of complex contractual agreements.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the end-to-end management of complex contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and execution for the RIE TRUST Office.
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and business units to support data-driven decision-making and innovation projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations, agency policies, and international best practices in contract administration.
- Lead contract risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect the organization's interests.
- Manage a team of contract specialists or coordinate with external legal counsel to resolve disputes and close out agreements efficiently.
- Develop and update standard contract templates and procedures to streamline procurement and partnership processes.
Kualifikasi
- Recognized law degree or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., Singapore Bar, Chartered Institute of Legal Executives).
- Minimum of 10-12 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or assistant directorial capacity within a large organization or R&D institute.
- Proven track record in managing high-value contracts, preferably within the government or scientific research sector.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, intellectual property rights, and procurement regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
