Are you a seasoned finance professional looking to make a strategic impact in the industrial sector? Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a high-caliber Senior Manager, Finance & Accounts to lead our financial operations in Bintulu, Sarawak. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key business partner, overseeing the full spectrum of accounting, treasury, tax planning, and financial analysis to drive the company’s performance and ensure robust liquidity management.
As the leader of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring stringent compliance with local statutory requirements, and providing actionable insights that guide executive decision-making. You will lead a dedicated team to optimize financial processes, safeguard company assets, and manage complex reporting frameworks within the dynamic ferroalloys industry.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise the full cycle of accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Month-End Closing.
- Direct treasury operations to optimize cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee banking relationships.
- Drive strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure organizational fiscal health.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, audits, and statutory financial reporting standards.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct deep-dive financial performance analysis and present actionable insights to the management team.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships, including auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor and develop the finance team to ensure high standards of professionalism and technical accuracy.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or ICAEW) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of MFRS, statutory tax laws, and financial reporting requirements in Malaysia.
- Proven ability to manage liquidity, treasury operations, and complex budgeting frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive change.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to be based in Bintulu, Sarawak.
