In this pivotal role, you will work directly with the Head of Legal & Corporate Secretarial to oversee the legal operations of the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and providing strategic counsel.

Tanggung Jawab
- Provide expert legal advice and support to the Head of Legal & Corporate Secretarial on a wide range of corporate, insurance, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, service agreements, and legal documentation to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Manage the legal aspects of company subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with local laws, regulations, and group policies.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of robust corporate secretarial practices and governance frameworks.
- Support the management of litigation and dispute resolution processes involving the company.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory changes, providing proactive advice on their impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure all business activities are conducted within the legal and regulatory parameters.
- Assist in preparing legal reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management and board committees.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent, with a valid Practicing Certificate from the Malaysian Bar.
- Minimum 7-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in the insurance, banking, or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian legal system, specifically regarding insurance regulatory requirements (BNM guidelines).
- Proven track record in corporate law, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High degree of integrity, professional ethics, and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.
