As a Senior Occupational Therapist at Heartland Rehab, you'll work with a diverse range of patients recovering from hand injuries, fractures, tendon repairs, and conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome. Tanggung Jawab
- Assess and evaluate patients with hand injuries, conditions, or disabilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on restoring hand function, reducing pain, and improving independence
- Perform specialized hand therapy techniques including splint fabrication, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
- Educate patients and families about hand care, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes according to clinical standards
- Stay current with advancements in hand therapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current and valid license as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hand therapy or upper extremity rehabilitation
- Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles specific to the hand and upper extremity
- Excellent assessment skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
