As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will play a critical role in our finance department, managing the end-to-end payroll lifecycle for our diverse workforce. You will lead initiatives to streamline payroll processes, ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements, and provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll inquiries. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of salary disbursements.
- Ensure strict compliance with Philippine BIR regulations, SSS, PhilHealth, and HMO contributions.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll registers, tax reports, and year-end tax filings.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes related to payroll and compensation.
- Address and resolve complex payroll inquiries and discrepancies from employees.
- Collaborate with the HR team to update payroll policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records to mitigate errors and risks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Thorough knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax codes, and BIR compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff at all levels.
