Gammon Construction is a leading force in the construction industry, renowned for delivering complex and landmark projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer / Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the North Region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of our high-profile construction ventures.
As a Planning Engineer with Gammon, you will act as the strategic backbone of our project delivery. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to translate complex project requirements into actionable schedules. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of project management principles, a sharp analytical mind, and proficiency in advanced scheduling software to drive operational excellence across our job sites.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project master schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Perform critical path analysis to identify potential schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with site teams to track physical progress and provide accurate reporting on performance metrics.
- Analyze resource requirements and allocation to optimize site productivity and cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and catch-up programs for internal and client management.
- Participate in project meetings to present schedule updates and provide expert planning advice.
- Ensure project plans comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the North Region.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in project planning within the construction/infrastructure sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for technical detail.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, sequences, and site operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) will be highly regarded.
