CPG Corporation is currently seeking a Senior/Principal Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Jurong East. In this key position, you will be responsible for managing pre-contract functions, including comprehensive cost planning and strict financial control for large-scale construction developments.
You will play a pivotal role in the preparation of high-standard tender documents and will oversee the financial integrity of projects from the initial planning phase through to completion. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the preparation of cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and detailed tender documentation for large-scale construction projects.
- Manage pre-contract cost planning, including budget formulation and value engineering studies to optimize project costs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quantities, assess variations, and manage contractor claims.
- Ensure strict adherence to contractual terms and conditions, including the administration of subcontracts and main contracts.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost status reports for stakeholders and management.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to resolve commercial and technical queries.
- Conduct risk assessments related to project costs and implement mitigation strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in pre-contract and contract administration.
- Professional qualification such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or SMQS (Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers) is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Bluebeam, Primavera P6, AutoCAD) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects within strict deadlines and budgets.
