Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of welding processes, materials, and structural components to ensure compliance with AWS, ISO, and project specifications
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and visual inspections to identify weld defects and material inconsistencies
- Generate detailed inspection reports with photographic documentation, test results, and compliance certifications
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions in real-time
- Monitor adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards during all construction phases
- Train junior inspectors on quality control procedures and welding inspection best practices
- Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment and ensure tool accuracy
- Coordinate with third-party certification bodies for welder qualification programs
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Quantity Control (QC) and Welding Inspector (WI) in construction or manufacturing contracting companies
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CSWIP 3.1 qualification required
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Strong knowledge of NDT methods, welding metallurgy, and failure analysis
- Familiarity with international standards (AWS D1.1, ISO 5817, ASME Section IX)
- Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and documentation processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
