China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is a leading global construction and engineering conglomerate, offering a dynamic environment for professionals seeking to shape skylines across the world. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Johor on a contract basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all cost-related aspects of our projects, from initial budgeting through to final account settlement, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver accurate cost plans and reports that drive informed decisionāmaking.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage cost planning, forecasting, and cost control for construction projects.
- Prepare and evaluate bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
- Conduct value engineering and risk analysis to optimise project budgets.
- Administer contracts, monitor variations, and negotiate settlements.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Track project progress and provide monthly cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and CSCEC policies.
- Mentor junior staff and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Proficient in measurement software (e.g., Cubicost, CostX) and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction contracts (e.g., PAM, CIDB).
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, MISM) is advantageous.
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Malaysia.
