We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at JVG Bina. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial management of new tender projects, ensuring accurate quantity measurement and competitive pricing strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in securing sub-contractor and supplier quotes, directly impacting our project profitability and timeline. You will act as the primary point of contact for cost-related queries, ensuring all billing and valuation processes are executed in strict accordance with contractual obligations and industry best practices. Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring project cash flow and ensuring that all variations are properly assessed and documented. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for tender submissions to ensure accuracy.
- Manage project costs and budgets throughout the entire construction lifecycle.
- Negotiate rates and terms with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure the best value.
- Conduct site measurements and valuations to verify work progress against contracts.
- Ensure strict compliance with contractual terms, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Liaise with internal project managers and external stakeholders regarding cost implications.
- Monitor variations and claims to ensure fair financial settlements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or Excel) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian construction standards, JKR regulations, and tender procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Chartered membership (e.g., Q.S Malaysia) is a distinct advantage.
