In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading our QS department, driving operational excellence, and mentoring junior staff. You will play a critical role in the financial management of our construction projects, ensuring precision in costing, meticulous handling of Variations (VOs), and robust contract administration. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee the full spectrum of Quantity Surveying duties for diverse construction projects.
- Manage end-to-end project costing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize Variations (VOs) and progress claims with subcontractors and clients.
- Implement and improve internal QS processes to enhance accuracy and project efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior surveyors, fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify quantities for accurate valuation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate commercial risks.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to optimize profit margins.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry.
- Proficiency in local building regulations, standard forms of contract (e.g., PSSCOC, SIA), and measurement methods (SMM).
- Proven track record in handling large-scale costing, VO management, and final accounts.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams and resolve complex disputes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to cost management.
- Prior experience in a mentorship or team lead capacity is highly advantageous.
