Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to take on a challenging role in a leading global consultancy? AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Kuching, Sarawak. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive quantity surveying and cost management services across all phases of construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide expert advice on commercial matters, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and manage monthly cost reports, valuations, and final accounts for construction projects.
- Assess and process variations, claims, and extensions of time in strict accordance with contract terms.
- Conduct detailed cost planning and budget control to ensure projects remain financially viable.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, including the preparation of payment certificates and final accounts.
- Review tender documents and assist in the preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ).
- Ensure strict compliance with local regulations and AtkinsRéalis quality standards.
- Provide expert commercial advice and support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian construction industry standards, regulations, and contract law.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, or similar).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
- RICS membership or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
