Xin Cheng Construction is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. In this key role, you will play a critical part in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of cost management, from initial cost planning and budgeting to final account preparation. You will lead the cost control strategy, review contractor tenders, and manage contractual variations effectively. We are seeking a professional who is detail-oriented, commercially aware, and capable of driving value for our clients and stakeholders.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and budgets.
- Review and evaluate contractor tenders, sub-contracts, and variations to ensure commercial fairness.
- Monitor and manage project cash flow, monthly valuations, and progress payments.
- Liaise effectively with internal project teams, clients, and external consultants to resolve commercial issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify work progress and ensure accurate measurement and valuation.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and manage contract close-out procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of local construction laws, regulations, and standard forms of contract.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, Excel, Primavera P6, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Valid Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
