We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor & Control Engineer to join our team for a critical biodiesel project in Central Kalimantan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the project's financial performance and ensuring strict adherence to cost control measures throughout the construction lifecycle.
You will act as the primary interface between the project management team and financial stakeholders, overseeing cost estimation, contract administration, and budget monitoring. We are looking for a proactive professional who can identify cost-saving opportunities, manage variations effectively, and ensure the project remains financially viable while meeting high engineering standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the overall cost control strategy, including budget preparation, cost forecasting, and monthly reconciliation.
- Prepare and evaluate tenders, bills of quantities (BOQ), and contracts for construction works.
- Monitor project progress against the budget and prepare detailed monthly cost reports.
- Handle variations, claims, and disputes to ensure fair and timely financial settlements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to optimize material usage and reduce costs.
- Ensure all financial documentation and records comply with Indonesian regulations and company policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, or Engineering Management, preferably in the petrochemical or biodiesel sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, pricing methods, and engineering economics.
- Familiarity with Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and local construction regulations.
- Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., MS Project) and cost estimation tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
