Join a well-established and leading M&E contractor in Singapore with a strong and growing project pipeline. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical & Electrical works to support our continued expansion and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E), you will play a pivotal role in our commercial and contracts team, responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of our M&E projects from inception through to completion. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage pre-contract and post-contract cost management activities for M&E projects including measurement, cost planning, and cost control
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost reports for mechanical and electrical works across various project scales
- Conduct thorough tender evaluation processes and analyze contractor submissions for M&E packages
- Develop and maintain accurate measurement and takeoff for M&E systems including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing
- Negotiate and administer contracts, subcontract agreements, and variation orders with clients and contractors
- Monitor project costs, track progress, and implement corrective measures to ensure projects remain within budget
- Provide expert commercial advice and support to project teams, resolving contract disputes and claims effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/engineering discipline
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in M&E projects within the Singapore construction industry
- Proven track record in managing cost control, contract administration, and measurement for M&E works
- Strong knowledge of Singapore standard forms of contract (e.g., PSSCOC, RED Book) and construction regulations
- Proficiency in measurement software and tools such as QSS, COSWIN, or similar cost management systems
- Experience in preparing and analyzing tender documents, BOQ preparation, and final accounts settlement
- Chartered or working towards professional membership (e.g., AIQS, SISV, or equivalent) would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
