Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Review and administer construction contracts, including preparation of contract documents, variation orders, and claims management
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, tracking expenditures against budgets and providing regular cost reporting to stakeholders
- Collaborate with project teams including managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery
- Conduct market research and maintain awareness of industry trends, material costs, and pricing indices
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, tender evaluation, and contractor selection
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's construction regulations, standards, and best practices
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the Singapore construction industry
- Full membership or eligibility for membership with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) or equivalent professional body
- Proven track record in managing costs for large-scale construction projects with values exceeding SGD 10 million
- Strong proficiency in QS software tools, Microsoft Office applications, and project management systems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contract terms and financial data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with high standards for accuracy and quality in work deliverables
