Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a specialized focus on electrical construction tenders? We are partnering with a prestigious M&E construction firm with over 30 years of excellence in the industry. This is a pivotal role for a detail-oriented professional looking to advance their career within an established market leader.
In this position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end tender process, ensuring accuracy in cost estimation, contract administration, and project profitability. You will join a highly collaborative team that values technical precision and professional growth. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the preparation of tenders for electrical construction projects from inception to submission.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations based on M&E drawings and specifications.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze tender documentation to identify potential project pitfalls.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
- Participate in tender interviews, clarification sessions, and pre-contract negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze market pricing trends to ensure competitive and profitable bid strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure all estimates align with project timelines and client requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related construction field.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the electrical/M&E construction sector.
- Proven track record of successfully securing tenders for large-scale construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in tender documentation, contract law, and local construction regulations.
- Expertise in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight submission deadlines.
