Join the dedicated team at Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) and play a vital role in strengthening families and communities. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to provide high-quality casework and counselling services to vulnerable families across our North-East Region. In this influential position, you will be the first point of contact for families in crisis, offering emotional support, practical guidance, and professional counselling. You will assess complex family needs, develop robust intervention plans, and navigate the social service landscape to connect families with essential resources. This role requires a commitment to empathy, cultural sensitivity, and professional excellence as you lead caseloads and mentor junior social workers to ensure the well-being of those we serve.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive social assessments and case studies for vulnerable families.
- Provide professional counselling and emotional support to clients facing various challenges.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized case plans to address family needs.
- Facilitate referrals to external agencies, government bodies, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in accordance with agency standards.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Mentor and supervise junior social workers or caseworkers.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in social work or counselling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Valid Class 3 Driving Licence (preferred for site visits and community outreach).
- Ability to handle high caseloads with empathy, resilience, and professionalism.
