Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in adult and elderly patients
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Provide direct therapy services including dysphagia management, AAC training, and cognitive-communication rehabilitation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document clinical progress and outcomes using standardized assessment tools and electronic health records
- Conduct swallowing assessments and videofluoroscopic studies when indicated
- Mentor junior therapists and participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with emerging research and clinical guidelines in speech-language pathology
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in adult/geriatric speech therapy
- Current registration with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
- Expertise in videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation (FEES)
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex communication and swallowing disorders
- Certification in dysphagia management or AAC preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education and family counseling
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
