Position Overview
As a Senior Staff Nurse specializing in Infection Control, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our patient population and healthcare staff. Your primary mission will be to assist in overseeing, monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining an exceptionally robust and effective Infection Control program. Working alongside key clinical leaders and hospital epidemiologists, you will champion a culture of safety, cleanliness, and strict adherence to clinical compliance standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive infection prevention and control programs in alignment with ministry guidelines and international healthcare standards.
- Conduct regular clinical surveillance, ward inspections, and environmental audits to monitor compliance with hygiene and infection protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the Infection Control Committee to formulate containment and mitigation strategies during outbreak events.
- Design and deliver continuous education, specialized training, and competency assessments to nurses, allied health workers, and medical staff.
- Compile, analyze, and report epidemiological data and infection rate metrics to hospital leadership and relevant public health authorities.
- Provide expert clinical advisory to ward leaders regarding high-risk isolation cases and sterilization practices.
- Lead and participate actively in hospital-wide clinical quality improvement, risk assessment, and patient safety committees.
Kualifikasi
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) possessing a valid, clean Practising Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent; a Post-Basic/Advanced Diploma in Infection Control is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years of direct focus on infection prevention, surveillance, or quality assurance.
- Thorough understanding of local infectious disease regulations, clinical epidemiology, and sterilization standards.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence behavioral change across departments.
- Proficient in clinical auditing methodologies, data collection, and report preparation.
- Strong problem-solving capability and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a high-demand, clinical setting.
