Curran Daly & Associates is partnering with a prestigious, Big Four-aligned accounting firm to find a highly skilled Senior Tax Advisory Manager. This is a pivotal role for a professional looking to leverage their expertise in a fast-paced, international environment while supporting high-net-worth clients and complex corporate structures.
As a Senior Manager, you will serve as a key bridge between local operations and Australian stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-level advisory service delivery. We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives on complex problem-solving and mentoring junior team members to deliver gold-standard accounting outcomes.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage a complex portfolio of Australian tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance and advisory services.
- Provide expert technical advice on AU Tax legislation, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Income Tax matters.
- Review complex tax returns, financial statements, and activity statements prepared by the offshore team.
- Act as a primary point of contact for Australian stakeholders, facilitating seamless communication and project management.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax associates, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to improve client outcomes.
- Ensure full adherence to Australian tax compliance standards and internal firm policies.
- Stay abreast of updates in Australian tax law and effectively communicate changes to the team and clients.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related financial field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years specifically focusing on Australian Tax.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian tax system and ATO regulations.
- Proven ability to manage high-level stakeholders and build strong professional relationships.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and tax software packages.
- Ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Professional certification (CPA/CA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
