Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and prepare annual tax computations and regulatory filings for the Philippines and relevant international jurisdictions.
- Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and ensure strict compliance with changing tax laws and regulations.
- Support monthly and quarterly tax reconciliations and assist in the year-end tax closing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies (such as the BIR) to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation in strict accordance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of tax software tools and process improvements to enhance overall departmental efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in tax accounting, corporate tax, or related finance roles.
- Deep understanding of Philippine Tax Code, BIR regulations, VAT, and transfer pricing guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and apply it to tax planning scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, or other relevant financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
