Tanggung Jawab
- Safely navigate vessels in/out of Jakarta harbor using advanced piloting techniques
- Monitor vessel traffic and coordinate with harbor control for optimal port flow
- Conduct pre-pilotage assessments and develop navigation plans for diverse vessel types
- Enforce maritime regulations and safety protocols during all pilotage operations
- Collaborate with tug masters, captains, and port authorities for coordinated maneuvers
- Maintain accurate pilotage logs and incident documentation
- Train junior pilots on harbor-specific navigation challenges and procedures
Kualifikasi
- Valid Indonesian Maritime Pilot License (Sertifikate Nakhoda Pelaut)
- Minimum 5 years' experience as ship pilot or deck officer on commercial vessels
- Expertise in Jakarta harbor navigation and Indonesian territorial waters
- Strong understanding of SOLAS, COLREGS, and IMO regulations
- Advanced knowledge of VTS (Vessel Traffic Services) and ECDIS systems
- Physical ability to climb ship ladders and work in all weather conditions
- Excellent crisis management and decision-making skills
