As a Shop Assistant, you are the face of our brand. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience, whether they are stopping in for a quick snack or essential household items. This role offers the opportunity to develop your retail skills, handle financial transactions, and manage inventory in a high-traffic environment. Tanggung Jawab

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are displayed according to merchandising standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for all customers and staff.
  • Assist customers in locating products and provide helpful information regarding current promotions.
  • Perform routine inventory checks and assist with the unloading and verification of new stock deliveries.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, security procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Execute general housekeeping duties to keep the store's interior and exterior presentable at all times.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent educational background.
  • Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Prior experience in a retail, F&B, or customer service role is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak English or other languages is an advantage.
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting stock.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and able to work harmoniously in a team environment.
  • Basic numeracy skills for accurate cash handling and daily reporting.
