WSH Experts is seeking a dedicated Site Inspector to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this critical role, you will be the frontline representative ensuring that all construction activitiesâspecifically those involving public sewer infrastructure and land parcel developmentâadhere strictly to regulatory standards and safety protocols.
You will play a pivotal role in project success by performing precise field inspections, verifying site conditions, and ensuring that all utility assets are accurately located and protected during the construction lifecycle. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who excels in high-pressure environments and is committed to maintaining the highest levels of workplace safety and operational excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct systematic inspections of construction sites to locate and verify the exact positioning of manholes and public sewers within project land parcels.
- Prepare comprehensive site inspection reports, ensuring all observations are documented with technical accuracy for project stakeholders.
- Liaise with contractors and site supervisors to ensure compliance with utility protection guidelines and site safety regulations.
- Monitor excavation works to prevent unauthorized interference with existing public sewer infrastructure.
- Perform regular site walkthroughs to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.
- Maintain up-to-date site records, including photographic evidence and site surveys for submission to relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with project engineers to resolve field discrepancies related to underground utility mapping.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in site inspection, land surveying, or construction supervision within Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of PUB requirements regarding public sewer and utility protection.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings, site plans, and utility maps.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage professional relationships with on-site contractors.
- Familiarity with WSH Act and local construction safety legislation.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is a significant advantage.
